Assen: Warm-Up Cold Warm Up - Phase One Notman Off but OK - Packed Pit Walk After a day of rest and group photography yesterday, the Assen TT Circuit has come back to life for the 500km race. The Warm-Up session saw the coldest weather of the weekend, with the sun struggling to clear the early morning mist and a stiff easterly breeze blowing. The 45 minutes session was red-flagged after a crash by Yamaha Phase One rider Andi Notman: "I just lost the front on the fast bit. I'm a bit knocked about but okay to ride." Fastest overall was Suzuki Castrol, with Suzuki Nederland second and Yamaha Phase One third. Today's action continues with a Pit Walk session and races for the 125s and 600 Superstock bikes. And this is just the warm-up session... |
